Mobile Device Management is Apple's enterprise protocol for remote iPhone management. An MDM server pushes configuration policies (what apps are allowed, what settings are forced) to enrolled devices over Apple's APNs network. The same stack used by Fortune 500 companies to manage employee iPhones, governments to manage classified-work devices, and K-12 schools to manage student iPads. When applied to a frum home, MDM allows enforceable content protection that cannot be bypassed from the device.
