A distinct iPhone policy state, separate from the default (unsupervised) consumer mode. Supervised iPhones unlock the full enterprise restriction set — including the ability to remove Safari, disable the App Store, block VPN installation, and prevent profile changes. Supervision is set via Apple DEP at factory and cannot be removed by the user, even via factory reset. It's the foundation of any real "kosher iPhone" deployment.
